The Association for Legal Americans strongly believes in legal immigration. We believe it is every country's right and obligation to protect its sovereignty. We believe that immigrants should come here legally from a variety of nations and races in order to bring true diversity.

The Mayor and City Council think you don't care.

They have done next to nothing to stop illegals.

When a city embraces illegals, they flock there. There is proof in the fact that Elgin's Hispanic population is now 42% or 44,940. Around 8,000 of those live here illegally.

Backing illegal aliens shows contempt for the values and laws of America. Failure to punish illegal activity just breeds more illegal activity and Elgin is a perfect example.

Elected officials have an obligation to serve and protect citizens and legal immigrants.

Mayor Shock and the City Council have taken an oath to uphold our laws, yet they have literally turned their backs on our illegal alien problem. The Mayor said he believes that immigration has economic benefits and enhances our cities with its diversity.

He doesn't separate illegal from legal.

Mayor, is it diversity or a take over? Is it prosperity, or a huge expense?

Is business profiting with cheap labor at the expense of our citizens?
